Show a sequence: check the meter and PRV, isolate hot versus cold, look for leaks or mineral-clogged lines. Logic first, wrenches second.
Give the state, the level, and the timeline plainly. If you hold a gas line qualification, say so; it widens what you can bill.
Cover shutoffs, draining, venting or electrical, expansion tank, and code items like seismic straps and T&P discharge. Completeness is the point.
Describe listening first, explaining the fix and price clearly, and leaving the space clean. Service plumbing is half craft, half trust.
Talk about reading isometrics, coordinating with other trades, and passing rough inspection. Name the pipe materials you ran.
Say you stop, document, show the customer, and give options with prices before proceeding. Surprises on the invoice lose repeat business.

State your license level and state first: apprentice, journeyman, or master plumber.
List certifications that expand your scope, such as gas fitting, backflow tester, or med-gas.
Split your experience clearly between service work and new-construction rough-in.
Quantify service volume, like calls completed per week or average ticket size.
Name the systems you install: tankless water heaters, water treatment, sewer lines, or repipes.
Mention drain camera and locator experience; diagnostic gear skills raise your rate.
